Unfortunately the “link to survey” button in the recent post is not working on some sites. This is the survey URL: Workforce Mobility Project – Young Scot Survey (surveymonkey.co.uk)
The Workforce Mobility Project would like young people to complete a short five minute survey. This is a great opportunity to highlight the transport and digital barriers and challenges which impact you and your families.
This survey is for all young people, and is asking about all forms of transport, from walking, public transport, personal car use and all points in between. It is also important to hear the voices of young people who might otherwise be ignored, such as young people with disabilities, and their experience of transport in the area.

We all work together to evaluate our school and to think about the things we can do to make our school even better. We share our developments in a document called a Standards and Quality Report. We work together with children and families to find out what everyone thinks about our school and we make a document for children in child friendly language too. If you would like any more information about either of these documents please contact us in school.
We’ve had a busy month in Ormiston with lots of learning going on in school and out. Here are a few photos of some of the things we’ve been up to. If you want to find out more of our latest news, check out our Twitter feed @OrmistonPrimary .
At nursery this term we have been learning about ‘People who help us’. We had a very exciting visit from the Firefighters from the Musselburgh fire station. We had a chat about the role of the Firefighter and then we went out to see the fire engine. We got to be a Firefighter and sit in the back and we had a turn of the big water hose.

We had a brilliant day Kayaking, Canoeing & Orienteering with the Outdoor team, there’s lots of photos of our day. Have a look to see if you spot anyone you know.
The Nursery staff would like to welcome back all our children in the morning group and a warm welcome to the parents and children who have just started in the afternoon. We would also like to welcome Miss Nicola Johnson our new Nursery Teacher. We are looking forward to another fun packed year of learning in the nursery.
