Mathletics
Mathletics is an inspiring and engaging online platform for improving and reinforcing maths skills. Mathletics is designed to inspire children with the desire to learn and the confidence to succeed! We use this within our Maths classes as well as setting for homework. If your child is in P3 to P7 they should be able to access their athletics account without a password using Airhead. Log in to Airhead by putting Airhead.io into the browser on your computer and log in using the edubuzz password. P1,2 and 3 children should have their passwords written in their reading diaries.

I thought you might be interested in this website (address in box above). Every year the Royal Institute runs a series of maths masterclasses for S2 pupils. Each secondary school is invited to put forward pupils who are in the top percentages of maths ability in the country, and who have demonstrated enthusiasm for the subject. Normally there are about 3 pupils per school who attend these masterclasses, but this year Ross High has sent SIX! And of those six, FOUR are former pupils of Ormiston Primary! I think that is a wonderful reflection on the school, as well as on the pupils themselves.
Hi Carol,
Thanks for letting us know about this. It’s great to be part of these great learning journeys! I hope they enjoyed the experience on the day.
