Our class trip to Holyrood Palace and the National Museum of Scotland is tomorrow. Everyone should bring a packed lunch and an outdoor jacket.

P4/5 have been learning different gymnastic skills with Mrs Clapperton.

We have been outside learning about the trees in the woods. We were able to identify sycamore, oak, horse chestnut and beech. When we came back inside we made line drawings of some of the leaves we found.

We have created tie dye patterns using string and white material. We are really pleased with the results.

We have been learning about seabirds this week. We went outside and measured out how big each bird would be.

As part of our information handling work we worked outside this afternoon to collect data (sticks, stones, leaves etc) and sorted it into categories using tables and carroll diagrams.

We have been learning about Mount Everest and the Nepal earthquakes today. Each group was set the challenge of making a model of Mount Everest which let us know about some of the science of how it was formed.

We had fun during our tag rugby session this morning. We are having an extra session next Wednesday, so please remember your rugby kit for one more week.
