Wild About Scotland – Endangered Animals

On Friday 29 January we visited the Wild About Scotland Bus where we learned all about endangered animals.  It was a really practical, fun and interesting session where we learned all about the factors that affect Scotland’s wildlife.

Fantastic Flying Forces

Today we were lucky to have a visit from two representatives from the Museum of Flight.  We learnt about lift, pull, thrust and drag through practical activities involving rockets, aeroplanes and even washers!

Pencaitland Church visit

As part of our work on Christian signs and symbols, we visited Pencaitland Church.  It was an interesting trip.  Mr Torrance told about the history of the Church as well as recognising some familiar signs of Christianity.
