As part of our health project on The Human Body we have been really lucky to have Mrs Budgen come in to help us. Last week we learnt how to react in an emergency and how to put someone into the recovery position. This week we learnt how to do CPR and practiced on dummies. Thank you Mrs Budgen for helping us.
On Thursday we had a drama workshop. After doing a few fun activities we put together a short play about pirates. We hope you enjoy it:
To end our project on The Vikings we made these amulets and coins out of clay and then painted them to look like they’re made out of metal.
P4 experienced the Respiratory System and the Digestive System before visiting Rio, The Moon and The Great Barrier Reef – all from within PPS thanks to Google Expedition!
P4 went on a bus and watched a show about a Viking day out. A man got taken to be a slave. After that we had lunch. Then we went to look at some of the stuff Vikings used like swords and brooches and lots of other stuff. Then we went into a room where you could touch stuff. At each table you write down your favourite thing! Then we went back to Pencaitland Primary School!
