The time is flying in – that’s two weeks done already. This week we have started our show rehearsals in earnest with some mums coming in to take out small groups to practice their lines. We also had a try out of all the costumes (which are looking quite good really). In our drugs topic this week we focused on alcohol and what dangers this posed. We watched some video’s, talked through some scenarios, looked at drinks bottles for information, sketched some drinks labels and looked at the effect on the liver and other organs. In maths we carried on looking at sequences and in writing we started on our P7 profiles. In art we did some drinks-inspired splatter painting. In PE we are continuing to try out for the Meadowbank sports team. We did High jump with Mrs Clapperton and sprinting with Mr Cain. We also had a lady in to talk to the school about the Lepra charity. we will be fund-raising for this charity during health week. [nggallery id=49]
