With the busy football calendar in full swing and the recent inclement weather it was decided to fit in a small mini-competition with Pencaitland, Kings Meadow and Ormiston which would hopefully go some way to easing the fixture congestion ! Unfortunately we have no pictures to show since the class camera was unavailable!
However the boys did themselves proud both with their footballing skills and their sportsmanship. The first game was between Pencaitland & Kings Meadow with the match going to and fro. However in the end it was the visitors who won a closely contested match. Kings Meadow and Ormiston then played out an entertaining 2-2 draw before Ormiston finished off a hugely enjoyable afternoon’s sport with a comfortable victory over the tiring Pencaitland boys.
All the participants played in the right spirit and agreed it was much better than what they would have been doing back in their respective classrooms !
