We had a packed day learning about John Muir. In the morning we went to the museum at John Muirs birthplace in Dunbar and found out loads of fascinating facts about the life and works of this famous Scotsman. Spread over three floors, P5 were able to look at posters, watch videos, play interactive games, turn flip-boards, read books, ask staff questions and look at exhibits all with the aim of finding out as much as possible about John Muir.
Then in the afternoon, Shonagh our drama specialist led a fun session all about John Muir’s childhood in Scotland. We discovered the games John got up to with his brothers and what his life was like with his grandfather and father.
