Thank you to parents for returning the forms to the school. It looks like we are going to have a great turnout on the day. If grandparents cannot attend we would appreciate if you could complete the form as we are planning to record where grandparents live on a map and display on the day. If you no longer have the form then please just write the information (names of pupils, class, and where grandparents live) on a piece of paper and bring into the office for me by Thursday 13 May. Thanks for all your support and your enthusiasm!
Carol Snow, Chair of Parent Council
The school, in partnership with the Parent Council, is having its first ever Grandparents’ Day in May. Taking place on the 14th we’re hoping that many grandparents will be able to attend the morning’s planned activities and see how their grandchildren enjoy school in 2010. All grandparents are encouraged to attend. For more details click here.
Parent Council member Ralph Averbuch recently attended the first ever Parent Council Conference. A report can be found under the ‘Parents’ section of the blog or by clicking this link.

Draft Minutes November 2008
Again, a big thank you to all parents and teachers who gave up their time or donated equipment for the Fireworks display on Saturday night. The event was a great success and has raised approximately £2,000 for the PTA. So thanks again to all involved and to everyone who braved the weather to support the event.
Thanks once again to Pencaitland Primary PTA, who organised another very successful firework display on Saturday night.
If you couldn’t make it, you can get some idea of what you missed from this slideshow – just add your own firework noises! (To view the slideshow full-screen use the button in the bottom right corner.)
