Firstly, thank you to all those who managed to join us on Friday morning, and we hope you enjoyed the opportunity to share some of our learning in the classroom! There will be further opportunities in coming terms for those who were not able to make it this time.
Here are some comments from the visit:
“Lovely to see your classroom, and to read your creepy, scary story about the haunted house. BOO!”
“Wonderful, very busy class.”
“Had a great time and was good to see them doing so well in class and happy.”
“Really enjoyed our visit.”
Now to our news: Last week we created some excellent spooky drawings and descriptions of a haunted house, completed our work on measuring area, and started thinking about our new topic- forces- in science. We also brainstormed some ideas for our class responsibility for recycling in the school. This week we will begin our class topic Festivals of Light, and will be carrying on with our Autumn Maths activities.
