Poppy Factory Visit

P7 had an amazing trip to the Lady Haig Poppy Factory in Edinburgh where they learned about the history of the poppy, its significance and how they are made.

They found out about life in the Second World War for people at home and on the Front. They saw loads of artifacts from the 1940s and some lucky people (and Mrs Rae) got to dress up in the kind of equipment worn by soldiers at that time.

They got a chance to make their own poppies and had a fantastic and informative trip.
