The Mental Health Youth Work Team have put together some advice for young people and parents looking for support over the holidays.

If you have a mental health concern in the first instance we would recommend exploring the following google site which has lots of information and self-help resources:

Mental Health and Wellbeing (google.com)

You can access live chat online with a highly experienced MYPAS worker for information and advice on any issues which are having an impact on your health and wellbeing here. The MYPAS worker can help you make a plan about further support:

MYPAS » MYPAS Digital Drop-in

If you are a parent and would like support for yourself or with supporting your child, including emotional support and information on other sources of specialist help where requested you can call Children’s 1st Parentline: Your East Lothian directory – Parentline Scotland | East Lothian Council

If you have serious concerns about your mental health or feel there is a risk to your safety we recommend making an appointment with your GP or calling NHS 24 on 111.
