‘Reading Is Braw’ was launched at the Musselburgh Burgh Primary School. We sent Natalia, Rebecca, Logan, Megan, Demi and Katie along from the pupil council.
Megan took a camera and Logan interviewed lots of people from pupils to teachers and even a politician. So, we have a fine slide show of photographs that really show what happened. The News4U ‘Reading Is Braw’ Special podcast is great too. You can watch and listen below.
This is what happens when you get the whole school to line the corridors and read. This short photo slide show allows you to spot the faces and the books everyone is reading. This is how we kicked off ‘Reading Is Braw’.
Mr Smith who helps the ‘News4U’ podcast group toured around New Zealand with his daughter Rosie in January. He made some films about their tour. This is the last one and it is very wet! Hope you enjoy this. If you see Mr Smith in the school say “Kia kaha” to him. Then he will know you’ve watched this film.
This week’s News4U features two different interviews. The first is with our own Lego expert. Cody tells us all about why he likes this building product so much. And, as some of you will have already seen in the slide show, Chef Tom Kitchin came to open the new dining room. The News4U team interviewed him too.
We were really pleased to welcome top chef, Tom Kitchin to come to school to open the new dining room. Here are some photographs in a short slide show which will show you what the grand opening and party were like.
