Macmillan Coffee Morning

P7 would like to invite all parents, carers and community members to our Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 27th September at 9.30am – 10.30am.

P7 pupils have volunteered to bake some cakes, any other baking donations would be greatly appreciated and can be handed into the school on the morning of Friday 27th with a list of ingredients for allergy purposes.

Left over cakes will will be on sale to pupils after the coffee morning. Cakes from 50p.

Your support  would be very much appreciated with this event. We look forward to serving you a hot cuppa and a cake! ☕️?

This week in P6a

This week in P6a we had a visit from PC Smith to talk to us  about hate crimes and online safety.

In writing we were set a challenge to create a missing poster for a endangered animal of our choice.  Our challenge arrived in a interesting brown envelope.

In maths we have been exploring  measuring weight. We had a go at different stations. We have been learning to convert grams to Kilograms.

Enjoy your weekend 🙂

This week in P6a

This week we enjoyed our trip to the Brunton Theatre to see a performance. We have been caring for the environment by litter picking in our school playground,  this links to our endangered animals IDL topic.  We enjoyed being the teacher for a lesson too.

Have a nice weekend 🙂

This week in P6a

This week in class we have been really creative. We made sea turtles which are one of the worlds endangered animals. We used shells and clay.

In science we made cannons to put in our Pinkies protected animal circus.

We used our fractions knowledge to complete an orienteering route.

We explored units of measure using measuring jugs and water.

Have a nice weekend
