Welcome back Primary 5!
We have had a great first few days in our new classrooms meeting our new teachers. This week we have had a chance to revisit Pinkie values, discuss our new routines and begin to contribute to the wider classroom through talking about class roles and jobs.
We have started our new class novel, ‘The boy in the girls bathroom’ by Louis Sachar. This novel will be our IDL focus this term; focusing on emotions, bullying and friendships.
Watch this space… we will keep you up to date every week on either the website or Google Classroom.
P5 have had such a busy last week of school. We have really enjoyed sports day, judo taster sessions and Pinkie’s Got Talent. I would like to say a BIG thank you to all of Primary 5a for their hard work and efforts for PGT. What a great show! P5 have finished their term with a slumber party, with some yummy snacks and juice – well deserved!
What a wonderful year.
Miss Cornes and Mrs Samson
Well done to all the P5’s who were involved in the rugby tournament today. We played with three other schools in East Lothian and it was great fun! I would just like to highlight how responsible and resilient P5 were today, we were all very proud to be Pinkie. Great sportsmanship – well done!
