We have been practising our times tables in our Numeracy lessons over the past few weeks. Last week P6 used a loop card game to help reinforce their number facts. They worked hard in their groups – well done and keep practising!
Last week we enjoyed looking at some of the fantastic homework the children had completed based on last term’s ‘Wonder’ topic. The class had a chance to inspect each other’s work and give peer feedback.
Please see the children’s Learning Profiles on Google Classroom for a teacher comment. Well done!
This week in Outdoor Learning with Mr Stone we learned how to use a compass. We had to look on a map and use the compass to tell us where to go. We practised our compass points to help us. (Victor)
Also this week, in P.E. we were doing circuits and on one of the stations you had to pull all the mats with a skipping rope and then push them back. On another one you had to jump side to side on a bench. It was hard! We are working on our fitness and strength. (Lucy)
It’s been a great week in P6b.
Our highlights have been beginning our artwork based on the book ‘Wonder’, diary writing and getting to do archery with Mr Stone during outdoor education.
Keep up the good work!
