Summer Support for Mental Health

The Mental Health Youth Work Team have put together some advice for young people and parents looking for support over the holidays.

You can access live chat online with a highly experienced MYPAS worker for information and advice on any issues which are having an impact on your health and wellbeing here. The MYPAS worker can help you make a plan about further support:

If you are a parent and would like support for yourself or with supporting your child, including emotional support and information on other sources of specialist help where requested you can call Children’s 1st Parentline: Your East Lothian directory – Parentline Scotland | East Lothian Council

If you have serious concerns about your mental health or feel there is a risk to your safety we recommend making an appointment with your GP or calling NHS 24 on 111.


Get Into Summer East Lothian!

Sports, play and free swims… it’s officially time to ‘Get into Summer’ in East Lothian!There are lots of projects running throughout the holiday period giving children and young people the chance to be active, connect with others and enjoy the best that East Lothian has to offer. Examples include football, tennis, rugby and gymnastics events, pop-up play activities, computing camps and free swimming at enjoyLeisure pools.
