A little reminder…
Next week is supposed to be very warm! We kindly ask that you send your child to school with some sun lotion on. If you wish to put some in their bags too that is fine but they will have to apply it themselves during the day.
We look forward to some fun in the sun!

If you were passing the Royal Botanic Gardens on 24 or 25 March and had popped into the John Hope Gateway which hosts the Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society’s ‘Schools’ Spring Bulb Competition – you’d have had a bit of a surprise! A Gold Award for some very clever P2b gardeners! Well done to Fallyn, Jessica, Milo, Maia, Martha and Aiden S. With Heather’s help, they planted some dwarf daffodil bulbs called ‘minnow’ back in October 2017. Now you can see the fantastic display that the judges liked so much.
Thanks again to Heather for all her help in making our fingers green.
Bonjour P2B, I hope we are all super bien.
Yesterday and todays weather has very much been il neige. I hope we have all been keeping nice and warm and enjoying the snow. Today is World Book day so pick up a book and decided if it’s fiction or non-fiction and have a wee read. We have started our recycling project, so make sure you ask your grownups before starting. If it’s allowed see if there are any recyclable materials, you could make something out off. Bring it in when school starts again (house points are on offer).
We were so lucky to have Santa come to visit us at our parties! We sang him some songs and he gave us some presents to take home to open on Christmas day. Everyone in Primary 1, Primary 1/2 and Primary 2 wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
See you in 2018!
On Friday 15 December we’re inviting all pupils to take part in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day.
The whole school and nursery will be taking part, with everyone getting the chance to show the world their silly side by wearing their favourite festive knits for the day.
We’re asking pupils to make a £1 donation, or whatever they can give, to help save children’s lives around the world.
The money they raise will help Save the Children give the world’s forgotten children a brighter future. It could help bring essentials like healthcare, education, protection and food to the millions of children around the world who are missing out on the most basic support.
And you won’t need to splash out on snazzy new sweaters to join in the fun – simply decorate an old woolly to create your own crafty masterpiece, or wear something festive.
We’d really appreciate your help to make Christmas Jumper Day a huge success.
With your support we’re looking forward to a woolly great day!
