Beat The Street!

Let’s try to win Points for Pinkie!

Beat the Street is a fun, free game that will see areas including Musselburgh, Wallyford, Whitecraig, Prestonpans, Cockenzie & Port Seton and Longniddry  transformed into a giant game! See how far you can walk, cycle and run in just 6 weeks.

Play the game from 11 September – 23 October to win prizes for yourself or join a team to win leaderboard prizes.

Every pupil will get a fob and a map this week that they can use on the Beat Boxes that are appearing on lamp posts all over Musselburgh.  Family and friends can get a card from the library or leisure centre and join in as well!

Visit https://beatthestreet.me/eastlothian to register your fob or card and start beating the street.

Christmas Jumper Day

On Friday 14th December we’re inviting all pupils to take part in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day.

The whole school and nursery  will be taking part, with everyone getting the chance to show the world their silly side by wearing their favourite festive knits for the day.

We’re asking pupils to make a £1 donation, or whatever they can give, to help save children’s lives around the world.

The money they raise will help Save the Children give the world’s forgotten children a brighter future. It could help bring essentials like healthcare, education, protection and food to the millions of children around the world who are missing out on the most basic support.

And you won’t need to splash out on snazzy new sweaters to join in the fun – simply decorate an old woolly to create your own crafty masterpiece!

We’d really appreciate your help to make Christmas Jumper Day a huge success.

With your support we’re looking forward to a woolly great day!

Nursery end of Term

We are very sorry to have to shut the nursery today, Wednesday. We have unfortunately experienced vandalism of broken windows to the extent in the nursery that glass shards have gone through everything and it is essential that the nursery be deep cleaned before we have access for the children.

Thursday arrangements for Teddy Bears Picnic

We intend to go ahead with the Teddy Bear Picnic but only for a shortened time in the garden. We will have the toilets open. AM Group 10.00-11.00 PM group 1.00-2.00

If you can bring your child to the picnic tomorrow and stay that would be great. Please feel welcome to bring younger siblings.

Friday arrangements

Sorry no nursery deep clean will commence next week.

We are very sorry to end the nursery year in this way but wish you all a very happy and safe holiday.
