We would like to welcome all children, parents/carers and staff from Levenhall Nursery School who joined us at Pinkie this week. The children and staff have settled in very well to their new accommodation.
As already advised, the gate to the nursery at the main entrance to the school will be open at the following times:
8.30 – 8.45 am
11.45 – 12.00 pm
12.45 – 1.00 pm
4.00 – 4.15 pm
At all other times please access nursery through the main entrance to the school.
In the interests of safety, and as parking is limited, please park outwith the school grounds when dropping off and collecting pupils from nursery and school.
I am writing to let you know about various changes at Levenhall Nursery. Children and parents are now coming into Nursery through the fire doors instead of the main entrances today and this will continue until the 14th May. This is because we have started some building work.
This leads me to my next bit of news.
Levenhall Nursery will cease operating out of their building at the close of the afternoon session on Thursday 14th May. It will re-open at Pinkie St Peter’s Primary on Tuesday 19th May. The old Levenhall Nursery buildings will then undergo essential building work, which may take some time.
It was planned that the nursery would be moving to new accommodation at Pinkie St Peters in 2016. Therefore, the Head of Education and I have decided to avoid further unnecessary disruption and make Pinkie St Peters the Nursery’s permanent home from now on.
If you would like more information about this, or if you have any concerns, please get in touch with me.
Many thanks for your continuing support.
