Red Nose Day

The Pupil Council have been given the responsibility of organising the school fundraising event for Red Nose Day.

The theme that the Pupil Council have chosen this year is Make Your Face Funny For Money. If you wish you may also dress up or dress down to suit your funny face.

The Pupil Council rep from each class will select the funniest face who will win a prize!

As this event is being organised for charity we would ask that everyone donate £1.00.

The Pupil Council thank you in advance for your support with this event and we look forward to a fun day!

Tower of Books

Pile of books & House CaptainsPinkie St. Peter’s recently took delivery of a pile of books from The Travelling Book Company that is almost the height of a couple of House Captains! What makes this towering pile of literature even more welcome is the fact that all the books were purchased using the commission earned from sales at recent school book fairs…a total of over £500!!

A big thank you to all children and parents/carers who have bought books at our fairs and a special thank you to parent Catherine Reid who runs our Book Fairs. The next Book Fair will be in March where children will have the added bonus of being able to spend their World Book Day vouchers.

The books are all featured in the Accelerated Reader scheme and feature a fantastic selection of new fiction as well as a range of classic books that are enjoyed by children of all ages! Keep an eye out for the stickers inside the front covers to spot these books.
