This week we have done a judo taster session.
We played Attack and Defending games and we wrestled. Jude got thrown and he thought it was so fun. He felt excited and nervous but when it happened it was amazing . Click the image below to see a video!
When we were going to play another game Jack demonstrated. He was attacking and the coach, Jordan, was defending beanbags and everyone was laughing because he could not get the beanbags.
HM and EM
P7A had a judo taster session this week. They learned some basic throws and played a few games to practise some useful skills.
Pupils from P7A and P7B travelled to Meadowmill Sports Centre today to take part in the East Lothian Tag Rugby Tournament. There were loads of teams there from Dunbar to Aberlady and from Yester to Stoneyhill. There were 9 pitches set up for us all and once we had found out what was happening, we started our matches. The girls team did great, winning half of their games. The boys played well, and improved a huge amount over the morning. There was great teamwork on show as well as good sportsmanship all round.
All pupils from P1-7 had the opportunity to participate in Karate sessions over the last two days. We would like to thank Chris Ewing Karate for providing free sessions for all pupils in school which were fun and stimulating!
Well done to all pupils who took part, you were absolutely fantastic and we are proud of you all!
