We are busy preparing for our Christmas Fair. Thanks to the Parents Committee for their hard work in advertising this event and obtaining donations for our raffles and tombola. Thanks also to the local businesses for contributing to this. The children have been making items for this event and will be working hard over the next few weeks to make this successful.
We have been learning all about Autumn. We have looked at the changing colours of the leaves and we are adapting to the change in the weather and thinking about food and clothes that help keep us warm. We have also listened to stories about how the animals are preparing for their Winter sleep. (Hibernation)
As part of our Bookstart Treasure Chest event our children took part in lots of pirate adventures. Some sailed away to ‘Happy Island’, whilst others searched for treasure around the nursery. On Friday 6th November Elspeth presented our 3 year olds with their Treasure Chests. There were some lovely stories to read at home as well as colouring pencils, pictures and stickers.
