2A1 were asked their thoughts on the world. What did they wish and hope for and what did geography mean to them. Some interesting results.

S2 pupils were challenged to come up with a marketing campaign to promote Eco-Tourism within the rainforests. Jack and Robbie decided to produce their own TV Advert. Have a look at the result.

Once again S3 Geographers will be joining with Home Economics in a joint trip to The Royal Highland Show on Thursday 23rd June. This is an ideal opportunity to see first hand modern farming techniques and changes to the industry such as renewable energies and organic farming. Opportunities to try new foods, see the best in Scottish farm animals, take part in the Army Obstacle Course and collect lots of freebies. This is a day out that puts the fun into learning – one not to miss. Return slips must be handed to Mr Lanyon by the 27th May.
S3 Standard Grade students, during the past week have spent an afternoon in Edinburgh completing land use surveys and interviewing members of the public. The trip was aimed at identifying the different types of land use within the area of Princes Street and George Street and investigating the methods, frequency and travel of visitors to edinburgh.
The S3 Geography exam will take place on Thursday 5th May. The exam will be during normal lesson time.
