If you have any questions or need to See Mr Bennion about anything to do with Extra-Curricular sport, the best time to catch him is on Monday and Tuesday break time.
Preston Lodge High School’s annual Sports Personality Evening is nearly upon us. Pupils who have attended clubs have been given invites, which allows them and one parent to attend the evening.
The pupils need to let Mr Bennion know by Friday 12 March if they are attending and if a parent is also coming along with them.
Also on the evening we will have an auction and raffle as well as testing the audience knowledge on sport.
The event keeps getting bigger and bigger every year with more pupils attending extra-curricular sport. We would like as many people as possible to come along and help us celebrate the success of our sports teams this year.
Preston Lodge High School are soon to start a “Fit for Girls” class and are in urgent need for a Coach/Parent/Volunteer to take this class of girls.
The class will run on a basis of letting the girls chose the activities they would be interested in doing and doing them in a 4 week block or on a week to week rotational basis. This is to target all girls to attend an activity that will keep them fit and healthy throughout their time at Preston Lodge High school.

Two Preston Lodge former pupils and one current pupil have been selected to represent Scotland at the Commonwealth Youth Games in India during October
They are Badminton players Paul van Reitvelde and Craig Pollock and Boxer Josh Taylor.The Scotland team sponsors Clydesdale Bank have named former pupil Josh – Athlete of the month for August 2008.
Craig has just returned to Preston Lodge for his sixth
year, whilst
Paul recently left school after completing his fifth year.
Many congratulations to all of them for their hard work and dedication to their sport – and best of luck for the challenges ahead !
