This week is a very short one due to the Bank Holiday and In Service Day.
However, there are a couple of important things we would like to bring to the attention of parents and carers…
ELP Bannockburn
Mrs Thomson is still awaiting a couple of items of paperwork for this trip (permission forms etc). If you are yet to return your forms for our exciting curricular trip to Bannockburn on May 31st please endeavour to do so as soon as you can. Thanks!
ELP York
All payment schedules are up to date (thank you so much!) but we await a couple of outstanding permission forms. Again, please can you help us by sending them into school as soon as you can. If anyone thinks they may have lost or misplaced their forms please feel free to contact any of the team to request a replacement.
ELP Special Needs Games
The East Lothian Special Needs games took place at Meadowmill yesterday and all of our pupils had a great time trying out wheelchair basketball and wheelchair archery. A lot of very tired, very happy young people returned to school late yesterday afternoon. Well done to all of the pupils involved!
WHOLE SCHOOL PROJECT
The Whole School Project culminates next week with our annual Open Day. The school will welcome in the community to share lots of exciting and innovative work, a market place and a musical performance – and also all part of the 3 Harbours Festival. Parents and carers are invited to join us and take the opportunity for your son or daughter to lead you round the exhibits. Some of the work we have been involved with includes:
- ELP baking as part of the whole school baking contribution
- ELP Italian Garden – come and see our Italian herbs and Italian themed garden and enjoy a Luca’s Ice Cream in the sun
- ELP 3D model of Italy
- ELP Italian Bread
- ELP Venezian masks
And many more interesting and impressive pieces of work…we look forward to seeing you then!
