Reminder: Paris/London Trip Parents’ Meeting
Tuesday 29 May at 6.30pm in the School Assembly Hall.
Please bring your child’s EHIC card.

Meetings will be held in the assembly hall on Thursday 8th March at break time and again at lunch time.
Come along for a presentation on next year’s ski trip, and to receive an information letter. The ski trip is open to all students, regardless of ski experience or ability.

There are still places available on the trip to Disnelyland Paris next year 23-28 June.

All girls participating in the Paris/London trip should come along as soon as possible to Mrs Fitzpatrick’s room to choose their Paris hotel bedrooms.
Due to unforeseen circumstances today’s trip meeting for pupils did not go ahead. Please attend a trip meeting on Tuesday 30 May at 1.10pm in Mrs Fitzpatrick’s room. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss who you would like to share a room with. If you do not attend you may not be guaranteed your first choice! You are welcome to bring your lunch. Be prompt!

In addition to this all students should hand in their EHIC ( European Health Insurance card) as soon as possible. These are free and can be obtained from:https://www.gov.uk/european-health-insurance-card.

A trip is in the process of being organised to New York and Washington in the February break 2018. The trip will be from 10th February to 17th February 2018. The group will spend four days in New York City before transferring to Washington DC to see the sights of the US capital. The group will visit Ground Zero Memorial, Statue of Liberty, Top of the Rock, Central Park, Times Square, Lincoln Memorial, Arlington Cemetery, Smithsonian Museum as well as other sights in these two exciting US cities. We will also be visiting a Broadway show and have enough free time in the itinerary for browsing the busy shops of 5th Avenue.
An information evening will be held on Wednesday 9th November at 6pm in the school hall. Please come along for a quick presentation and the opportunity to have any questions you may have.
A last minute place has become available on the Battlefields Tour (8/9-14/9 inclusive) due to the sporting commitments of one of our participants.
Any S2-S6 student (no musical experience required) who has a passport and an European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) should contact in the first instance Lesley Wyllie in the school office on 01875 811170. First come, first served!

All S1 pupils who are going on the Holland trip next year must attend a meeting in Mr. Evans’ room at lunchtime (1.10pm) on Wednesday 11th November for the boys and Thursday 12th November for the girls. It is essential that you attend these meetings.
The following trip is now back up and running and now includes 2 days in Disneyland Paris. Five spaces are still available and those interested should contact Mr McNeil in the first instance. The price has been reduced to £475 per person. £100 deposits payable by 20 November – cheques payable to East Lothian Council or pay online via East Lothian Council ‘Pay for it’ facility.
