Preston Lodge High School hosted a Christmas Fair on Tuesday 1st December.
Pupils, staff and members of the community ‘shopped til the dropped’ at the various stalls which included Virgie Vie, The Body Shop, The Book People, selling jewellery, handbags, crafts and home baking. The guests were then able to enjoy coffee and a cake at the cafe.
The event was organised by Mrs Hoban, Miss Angus and her S3 Hospitality class and the school’s parent council.
The event raised around £800 for a variety of causes including money for pupils hoping to visit Ecuador next year and for S3 boys who have qualified for a badminton tournament taking place in Bulgaria next year.
