Basecamp 2

Lothian Autistic Society is providing a new evening service programme called Basecamp 2.

Basecamp 2 is an individualised programme which aims to equip children on the autistic spectrum with skills whilst socialising with others. The young people will set targets with a mentor and they will be given the opportunity to reach their goals over a 6 month period. The young people will receive 6 cairn awards before getting the final certificate, The Summit Award. This programme is a great opportunity to try new things in a safe environment. The Basecamp 2 service has been running for a number of years with great success, therefore we are excited to be expanding this service out the above areas again. Spaces are available as follows:

Location – Musselburgh, East Lothian

Date/Time – Monday 18:15 – 20:45 running weekly from January – June 2019

Who is it for? – Children and young people of high school age with a diagnosis of autism or with similar support needs

Cost – £5 per session
