Scottish Diaspora Tapestry

Wednesday saw the Primary School join with their fellows from other schools in Prestonpans to celebrate the Threads of Our Past and The Scottish Diaspora Tapestry at the Community Centre. Children told stories from their own family histories with the help of Tim Porteus to weave around the story plates created by pupils to show their own connection with history. The pupils also sang songs with the help of Alex Hodgson. The first time all three schools had sung the compositions together.
