I thought that Pugs Of The Frozen North was a good easy read for 7 – 9 year old. I liked it but it wasn’t very challenging. The author’s imagination is amazing as it shows in this book. I couldn’t of thought of yeti spaghetti and magic snow but the author could. I wouldn’t put it down as a winner for my age but maybe 7-9 year old.

This is a funny and adventurous book. I laughed out loud sometimes and couldn’t put it down. The names of some of the dogs on the back page were clever. I really liked the drawings too.

This was a really amazing read because it felt like I was really in the race. It was also really funny because the pugs were doing the running instead of huskies. I found the names of the pugs at the back of the book were really funny too. It was sad at the end when the Grandpa dies but it’s also happy when Snow Father lets him go on his own journey to a place that nobody has found. I would give it 5 out of 5!
