The white class, Darren and Scott had a fab time at the lagoons yesterday. Everybody got a turn in the canoes and Scott had his first try in a coracle. a coracle is a traditional British boat and very easy to capsize. Scott managed to stay in, however two of his coaches didn’t. They got very wet!

We all had a fantastic day yesterday down at Musselburgh lagoons on our 4th annual Outdoor Learning day. We all had the opportunity to go canoeing, cycling, learn bush craft with the East Lothian Rangers and use binoculars and a telescope for bird watching. The sun shone and everybody got involved.

The ASDAN activities and peer tutoring group invited Scott, David, Chris and Aaron to support and join in with the sports day they had organised for the cluster P7s last week. It was a huge success and everyone had a great time.

Once a week, the pupils in the ASN department access the PE department and get some exercise. We have a variety of activities on each week to get our bodies moving and our hearts pumping.

Today all the staff and pupils at Ross High participated in a sponsored walk. Our department walked most of it with a bonus trip to the park. We had a great time and the weather was perfect! A great achievement for all involved.
