Higher Design and Manufacture allows pupils to further explore the world of a product designer. They will gain in depth knowledge of Design Issues, Materials and Commercial Manufacturing Processes.

During the year they will complete several units of work which relate to the outcomes set by the SQA. All of which need to be completed. They will then completed a final Design Assignment which is worth 50% of their final mark, the rest of their mark comes from the exam.

The completion of regular homework is essential as it helps to build up the knowledge and understanding required for the course. These can be accessed through Google Classroom using their school account.
