In S3 pupils continue to recieve a broad general education in Graphic Design and Manufacture. However they do choose which subject they they would like to specialise in, either Graphic Communication, Design and Manufacture or Practical Craft Skills.

The S3 courses for both these subjects are designed to allow progression to the new National 4 and 5 qualifications. In S4 pupils will work towards one of these qualifications with the option to progress to the next level of study the following year.
