Tranent Primary Schools Book Review Competition

November 23rd, 2014 by

To mark Book Week Scotland all pupils in St. Martin’s, Windygoul and Sanderson’s Wynd primaries  are invited to submit a book review on any book that they have read and would recommend to others. The review can take any format and is a good opportunity to get creative! All entries are due to your school by Monday, December 1st. Winners will be announced by the 8th of December. There are 3 book tokens to be won for winners in P1-2, P3-5 and P6-7, so get writing!

There were some very impressive entries.

Winners from the Book Review competition were:

P1-P2 Category:

P3-P5 Category: Sophie Scott from Sanderson’s Wynd Primary

P6-P7 Category: Gerda Dlugbarskaite from St. Martin’s Primary School

The winners each received a  £10 National book token. Bobby Duncan in P4E at Sanderson’s Wynd also received special recognition for his character book review. Well done to everyone who took part!

A selection of Primary 7 book reviews are on display at the Tranent Library until January.
