img_1873.JPG  img_1886.JPG  img_1877.JPG  img_1887.JPG  img_1888.JPGToday we wore our pyjamas to raise money in aid of the Royal Sick Kids Hospital!  It was great fun having all our lessons in our jammies.  We also had a cake and candy stall.  Thank you for all your generous donations!

Crazy Kinex!

Congratulations to Ailsa and Angus who won the Kinex Competition on Tuesday 27th!  They had to use Kinex construction material to build a warehouse structure that met the specifications.   Our winning team will attend the Kinex Competition Scottish Final in Glasgow sometime in June.  Good luck!

Master Chefs!

Congratulations to Rebekah and Amy who won the Little and Large Cookery Competition!  Our girls made tasty tomato pasta and crunchy crispie cakes.  Our girls will go on to attend the East Lothian final cook off at Knox Academy on Thursday 5th June.  Good luck girls!

Netball Tournament

Well done to the players who attended the netball tournament on Wednesday 21st May!  Our hard work and effort during the training sessions helped us to win some of our games!  It was a great day at Pennypitt and we are looking forward to going back next year.

Saltoun 3C’s Competition

It was great to see so many fantastic entries for the competition.  All the entries were presented at Assembly and are displayed in the school corridor. Please feel free to come and look at them.  It was very difficult to choose a winner from each category! img_1760.JPG

Minibeast Adventures

P1/2/3 have been doing some fabulous story writing.  Pupils have been writing their own short imaginative story books.  They used collage art materials to create a minibeast character that goes on an interesting adventure.  Their stories will be shared with the Nursery as part of our transition activities.  Here are some photos from one of our writing sessions.
