P3-4 had an enjoyable HATS Day making balloon powered cars from bits of junk.  Using empty pastic water bottles, straws and bottle top lids, we made cars powered by balloons.  Individually, everyone designed and made cars and then we held races. Maggie and Caitriona from Humbie were joint winners of the P3 race, while Murdo won the P4 race.  Matthew N’s car went the furthest travelling well over 2 metres.  At the end of the day we had a Champions Race and Maggie became P3-4 Champion of Champions with her excellently designed and created car.
