Survey: 1140 hours in East Lothian

The council has launched a survey to understand how the expansion of funded early learning and childcare (1140 hours) is working for parents and carers in East Lothian.

The online survey asks questions about the model of hours your child receives, the setting that they attend, and your priorities when choosing how to use their entitlement. It will also ask how well 1140hours supports the Scottish Government’s aims for its introduction.

This information will be used to reflect on the introduction of 1140 hours in East Lothian and plan future provision.

Parents and carers of children who receive 1140hours of early learning and childcare either in a council setting, funded nursery, childminder or community group are invited to take part.

Complete the online survey from the Consultation Hub before it closes on 9 February 2022.
