Making Soup

Having Fun with Michael Rosen

P3-4 Make Fruit Salad

As part of our Health and Wellbeing focus this term, P3-4 will be looking at the journey of food from source to consumer.  We will also be looking at safety and hygiene when preparing food.  Yesterday we made fruit salad and had great fun preparing the fruit and eating the fruit salad!!  

P1-2 Build Lego Models

This afternoon, Jim Scott, a retired engineer from Longniddry came to help us build lego models.  Everyone worked really hard building their roundabouts or dragons!            

Farewell Finn

Today, P1-2 said ‘goodbye’ to Finn Colledge, who left Saltoun Primary School.  He and his family have moved to Peebles.  We would like to wish him well in his new home and look forward to hearing how he is settling in to his new pimary school. PE on a Tuesday…

From now until the Easter holidays, P1-2 will be having PE on a Tuesday afternoon.  We will go to the hall until the weather gets a bit warmer, so gym kit is required.  We will be building on the work done  last term by Mrs Dougal, the PE specialist, and will be looking initially at ball skills including throwing, catching, kicking, etc.
