All welcome at our Community Cafe in the Village Hall. This was organised by the Pupil Council. They have researched how other cafes operate. Looked at costings etc. So do please come and help develop their skills further by letting them serve you!
Home Baking Stall
Saltoun Christmas Fair
Euan, Charlie and Sam will be hosting a home baking stall at the Christmas Fair this year. We would be very grateful if you could donate some home baking for us to sell. All our profit will go to the parent council who are raising money for some new books for school.
If you could give the baking to our mums (Fiona and Frankie) in the playground on Friday or deliver to Fletcher Hall at 10am on Saturday.

Please remember to send back your slips for Emergency Closure and Photographs. Also if you wish to receive communications by email as well as pupil post please send your email address into the office.
All welcome to the above meeting. We would particularly like to see any nursery or new P1 parents join us. Come along and see what it is all about.
Here is the agenda for the evening:
For your information Sports Day is going ahead. Children should be picked up at 1pm from Saltoun (excluding those children being transported) and then on to Humbie.
Staffing – Sadly we are losing Mrs Guy at the end of term. She is joining Kings Meadow Primary, Haddington on a full time permanent contract. We hope to appoint a full time member of staff before the term ends. A huge thank you to Mrs Guy for her hard work at Saltoun and we wish her all the very best in her new post.
On a brighter note Mrs Birrell returns next Wednesday (20th). Mrs Currie will stay on until the end of term and she will then move on to a Principal Teacher’s post at Macmerry Primary. Another huge thank you to Mrs Currie for stepping, so ably, into Mrs Birrell’s shoes whilst she was off on maternity leave. Good luck to Mrs Currie for the future.
Children’s Olympics – Tuesday 26th June The opening ceremony for the above will take place, in school, at 9.30am. Activities will continue throughout the morning.
Cyling & Scooters – Whilst it is great to see so many of you coming to school on your scooters and bikes, can we remind you that there should be no cycling or using the scooters in the playground. As soon as you come into school please park your bike or scooter. Can we also remind you that it is a condition of cycling to school that you wear a helmet.
At 9.30am on the morning of 26th June 2012 our children will have their opening ceremony. Events will carry on throughout the morning. Come along and see how hard your child/ren have been working on their Olympic event. All welcome.
