Nursery Home Learning Plan w/c 18/1/2021

Good Morning,

Please find attached this week’s Home Learning Grid. I would like to thank all the parents who have sent in photographs and videos of their children engaging with some of the home learning experiences it is lovely to see. If anyone else would like to share their child’s learning experiences with us please email them to us at learningthroughplay2020@gmail.com and we can add these photographs to their Learning Stories which will make great talking points on your child’s return to nursery.

Staff Update

Our Senior Early Years Team

We would like to welcome our new Senior Early Years Practitioner to the Sanderson’s Wynd Nursery and provide you with a little background information about Mrs Ghori and her experience with the early years sector. Please find attached a short summary and a photograph of Mrs Ghori.

Going forward Mrs Ghori will be overseeing the Yellow and Blue Room within the nursery and Mrs Kennie is moving to the Purple Room to work alongside Ms Howie (Leasa) while overseeing the Red and Purple Room. Mrs Reid (Caroline) will be joining Mrs Akhtar in the Red Room. All our staff are very excited to get started in their rooms but will continue to support children and families across the whole nursery.

Equality and Excellence Officer

As many of you know we introduced Charlotte Jordan our new Equality and Excellence Officer to our Nursery Team in August. Please find attached some background information about Charlotte and how she could help to support you and your family going forward. Charlotte will be reaching out to families within the setting in the coming weeks and looks forward to getting to know you all.
