Walk to School Week 6th – 10th October

Next week is Walk to School Week (6th – 10th October).  Pupils will each receive a booklet encouraging them to track how many times they walk to school.  We realise that not everybody is able to do this, however there is evidence to support the findings that walking to school even once per week can make a huge difference.  We would like to thank you for your support with Walk to School Week this year and in all the previous years!

P3/4 Eco Posters

P3/4 Eco posters ask you to help the environment. Reduce Reuse and Recycle. This is the important message on display at the front entrance to the school.

The winning posters in the class competition are designed by Benjamin, Adam and Dylan. Well done boys!

P6/7 Dig in the Woods…

P6/7 worked extremely hard in the name of conservation today – digging ditches. Supported by Richard English, Mrs Misselbrook and Mrs Hodge the class didn’t hesitate when faced with the challenge. Spades and shovels at the ready they made huge their own personal stamp on conservation in East Lothian.
