East Lothian Council is seeking the views of residents and others on future land-use and development in East Lothian as it prepares a new Local Development Plan.

The plan will eventually replace the East Lothian Local Plan 2008.

Councillor Barry Turner, the Council’s planning spokesman said: “The Council is interested in hearing the views of everyone with an interest in East Lothian. We want to know what aspirations you have for the way your area might develop over the next ten years or so, and what planning issues you think may need to be addressed in the new plan. Happy new year everyone, P1M have some new posts to share here.  Please take  a moment to find out what we have been up to this week.

Unfortunately our plastic bottle greenhouse in the school courtyard suffered wind damage over the Christmas holidays. Mr. Clelland has very kindly offered to repair it and the work is already underway. We are in need of more 2 litre plastic bottles to complete the work. Donations of clean, rinsed out 2 litre bottles with labels already removed would be greatly appreciated!

Primary 7P’s 31 Days of January quiz began on the 1st of January. 7P pupils should be checking our class blog daily for the questions. You can see today’s question here:  https://www.edubuzz.org/primary7p/ So far Chloe McGhie is well in the lead for the prize with three correct answers!
