In nursery we have been learning about 2D shapes. We are learning what they are called and how to describe them using language such as flat, curved, corners, equal and sides. The children have been busy drawing 2D shapes using different mark making equipment, singing songs about shapes and playing games. Here are some links for songs and games to play at home .
Well done to Connolly, Callum, Harry and Odi. You all worked really hard at the playdough table to create these great models. Well done!
Connoly’s volcano, Callum’s snowman, Odi’s snake and Harry’s letter H.
This nursery pupil has made an amazing bird feeder using toilet roll tubes, peanut butter and bird seed. I think all the birds will be coming to your garden. Yummy!
Mrs Anthoney created this fantastic bar graph to enable the children to record how many birds the children see from our nursery. Looks like seagulls are wining so far.
