The P6/7 class attended an East Lothian rugby tournament in Meadowmill this week, read on to find out how they did..
The P6/7 class took part in a council wide rugby tournament primarily aimed at P7 classes across the council. St. Marys were represented admirably by the P6/7s who did a fantastic job of showing the other school pupils, staff and onlookers how our school works together and conduct themselves when it matters most!
St. Mary’s was probably the smallest school there in terms of school size (compared to Dunbar, Windyghoul, Campie, Stoneyhill and Kings Meadow) but really stood out, not just in their excellent behaviour but also their sporting skill!
Our school did their best and won half of their games, narrowly losing some including one to the eventual champions, Dunbar P.S. Not to be deterred, P6/7 had a fantastic time and showed everyone, including themselves, what great sportsmen and women they can be. Well done P6/7!
