As our Primary 7 boys and girls leave St Mary’s for High School, we witnessed a lovely moment outside their classroom, with some of the children from King’s Meadow, where they were signing each other’s tops. Lots of new friendships already in place for High School!
We have received the following notification from Morrison Construction:
‘As part of our construction of the new Haddington Joint Campus, we require to undertake major works to the Butts footpath. These works consist of forming drainage, regrading and widening of the footpath along the new school boundary.
To carry out these works and to ensure the safety of the public a section of the footpath will be closed from 2/7/12 until 12/8/12. Notices are in place in school and around the area affected.
We apologise in advance for any inconvenience and will endeavour to re-open the section of the footpath affected sooner if at all possible.

In the event that it is raining, or the grass is very wet on Monday, alternative arrangements have been put in place to hold Sports Day, if need be, at the Aubigny Sports Centre at the same time of 9:45 am on Monday. Parents will still be able to come along and see their children take part.
A decision will be made on Monday morning as to where our Sports Day will be held.
From the morning nursery to Primary 7, all the boys and girls took part in our very own Opening Ceremony to celebrate the upcoming Olympics. Each class was given a country to represent and they had to perform a short dance for the rest of the children. Luckily we had a nice day and were able to go outside for our ceremony.
