Wednesday 6 October is the last day of the Gardening Club for this year. The nine gardening club pupil members have worked really hard over the spring, summer and autumn months to keep the John Muir Garden in tip- top condition. The planters at the front of the school have also been tended by the pupils and have made a lovely display for visitors throughout the summer months. On Wednesday, 29 September we had our first rained off day so with direction from Mrs McDonald we spent our time picking carrots that we had grown in a planter and then making and eating delicious carrot soup. It was truly yummy! I would like to thank all the Gardening Club members for all their efforts this year. They have been extremely dedicated in their work. Many thanks from Mrs Sharp
