This week Tilly the Time Machine brought us some Roman Coins. We found Rome on a map and compared it with where we were. Rome is part of the country Italy. We labelled a Roman Soldier and coloured in his shield. We looked at different items and sorted them into past and present.

We wrote a fantastic imaginative story where we all visited Rome. We had to tell Miss Docherty what we saw while we were there and use our core targets. We looked at the Colosseum, Pantheon and the Vatican City.

We learnt 3 brand new red words; has, had and see. We have been practising spelling these and using them in a sentence.
