Primary 3’s Reflection

We have had a great week of learning in Primary 3!

Our Big Writing topic this week was all about exploring nocturnal animals. Everyone loved researching an animal and then having a go at writing an information report. Sol learnt that wolves can run up to 65km an hour and Eve learnt that a group of owls is called a Parliament.

In Maths we had our last week exploring 2D shapes, 3D objects and lines of symmetry. Jamie, Megan, Mark and Zed enjoyed making 3D objects out of lolly sticks. Olly, Lucia, Maci, Archie and Daniella thought it was great when we made reflective patterns for our partners to copy.

Next week for our topic we are going to begin to make a push or a pull object. Everyone has made a plan of what they would like theirs to look like and are very excited to start the build.

On Tuesday next week we are going to be very lucky and having some police visiting St. Martins to teach us all about a special program called “Sticks and Stones”.

Have a great and restful weekend!
