Active Schools

We are delighted to announce another run of Rock Climbing at Forester Park.  This will go live tonight at 6pm on a first come, first serve basis.

Even more exciting news is that we have Erin back in Tranent running Cheerleading and Gymnastics for all pupils, of all schools at Sandersons Wynd on a Friday.  This will also go live at 6pm.

ACTIVE SCHOOLS ONLINE BOOKING!

Please find below a link to The Active Schools website which will take you to the brand new online booking system, which goes live on Wednesday 19th August at 6pm.

Hopefully this will soon replace the paper letters going out to all children. We will continue to provide paper copies for those who require it.

Remember that classes for the children with Active Schools are extremely sought after. So to avoid disappointment, please book early.

Morrisons Let's Grow

Dear Parents/ Guardians/ Grandparents/ Aunties/ Uncles/ Friends,

We have registered to take part in this promotion. Please send any vouchers you manage to collect into school with the pupils or hand them into the school office. This is the third year that we have taken part in this and we have managed to get various items  for the pupils to use in the garden e.g. trowels, gloves, seeds etc. It would be great if we could add to our collection this year. Please ask your friends/ work colleagues to help us too! Every voucher counts!!!!

GET SPORTY with Active Schools 2013

Active Schools co-ordinator Adam Martin, came into the school on Tuesday to speak at our whole school assembly.

He told us about all of the new and exciting clubs and sports that are going to be open to the children of St Martin’s Primary this term.

I have attached the letter to this post if you have not receievd the paper copy. Please remeber the letter should be returned to the address on the cover letter and NOT to the school office.

All places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. BOOK NOW to avoid disappointment.

Remember what Adam said, every child should be doing 60 minutes of physical exercise a day.

Enjoy your new sporting events! We look forward to hearing all about your time spent with Active Schools.
